Alexis and Jason came to me through their planner, Kaylyn Gyuris, just a few months before their May 2022 wedding. Alexis is a creative director, and it showed in her huge dreams for the day. While their chosen venue, the Cummer Museum was initially what drew me in, I was quickly wooed by details like a color palette derived from shades of clay, earth, and stone. Photographer Karrah Kobus captured these details in ways that make each photograph seem like a carefully styled campaign.
It’s hard to say which piece was my favorite from the day- the mossy asymmetrical arch featuring the best seasonal ingredients, the bridal bouquet with the cafe au lait dahlia and so much grassy movement, or the hanging install inspired by the dried flower exhibit by Rebecca Louise Law that graced the venue before the wedding.
