When Savannah at The Shindig Co first contacted me about the Charleston editorial she was planning with photographer Alexis Lunsford , I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She sent me a long email, bursting with ideas and enthusiasm. I sent back an equally rambling email, and from there a collaboration was born.

It was an idyllic day for a photoshoot. I spent the early morning building the ceremony meadow on the sailboat surrounded by water and fog. As the day went on, the fog lifted to clearest and bluest of skies just in time for the two trips the flowers endured. The gallery Alexis sent us a couple weeks later captured exactly that, in her effortless and classic style.
